The “Rimini” is more than just a light source – it is a tangible testimony of the sea. The striking body of this lamp was crafted from a special piece of driftwood, whose flat, elongated shape strongly resembles a section of an old ship's plank.

To preserve the soul of this history-steeped wood, the surface was elaborately refined in several steps: the wood was finely sanded, polished, oiled, and finally waxed. This treatment brings out the deep grain and the texture shaped by saltwater with a silky shine, giving the body an incomparably high-quality feel.

A precisely turned and milled base in matte black provides the solid foundation and presents the light-colored wooden object in a modern way. A classic fabric shade completes the design and ensures a gentle, atmospheric light. As with all my unique pieces, the shade can be effortlessly replaced at any time to set color accents according to your own wishes.

Please note that this piece was created by hand – it does not have the sterile, perfect finish of an industrial product. The natural traces of time in the driftwood are intentional character features that make the “Rimini” an honest and unmistakable unique piece.
