The “Colosseum” is an impressive symbiosis of raw nature and precise craftsmanship. Both the striking body and the base were crafted from authentic driftwood, which gives each piece its own soul through its individual history.

Fine slots were meticulously turned by hand into the solid body, reminiscent of ancient structures and giving the lamp its unique, rhythmic structure. The matching base was turned, milled, and subtly lacquered in black, creating a modern contrast to the natural wood. To permanently protect the vibrant grain and deep hues of the driftwood and make them shine, the entire lamp has been refined with a high-quality clear varnish finish.

The design is crowned by a simple fabric shade that gently filters the light and creates a cozy atmosphere. As with all my unique pieces, the shade can be effortlessly replaced at any time should you wish to set a new color accent later. Since every element was crafted by hand, the “Colosseum” is not a sterile industrial product – small natural peculiarities in the wood are intentional character features that distinguish this honest work of art.
